A little stall with a big wok

Eat bright.
Stay awhile.

Spruce Isle makes sunny, wok-fired plates for the hungry, the curious, and anyone who believes lunch should have a little kick.

Our way

Small menu.
Full flavour.

Spruce Isle is built around the rhythm of a good hawker counter: a hot pan, a sharp knife, a little chatter, and food that reaches you before you have time to overthink it.

We keep the recipes generous and the garnish useful. Fresh herbs, deep browning, a squeeze of something bright. Nothing is there just to pose.

“The best plate is the one you’re already reaching for.”

The easy part

Walk up.
Choose well.

How it works

Join the counter, read the board, and tell us what sounds good. We cook each plate as it’s called.

One small note

Spruce Isle is a walk-up stall with a deliberately short menu. When a dish sells through, we let it rest until tomorrow.
